1. Use Keywords in Your Blog Title

Your blog post title is the first view which occurs in front of your targeted audience. So it becomes necessary to write the title very carefully. The best way to make the attractive title is to use the numbers or steps you have described in your article to resolve an issue.

Don’t forget to add your focus keyword in your blog post title. By adding focus keywords you are optimizing your blog post for SEO or Search Engine Optimization.

2. Use Keywords in Your Slug & Meta Description

Are you familiar with Slug? If don’t, let me introduce you about the Slug, It’s actually a link to your article like this post’s URL.

Also, the meta description is very important it must be to max 140 characters and must include your focus keyword in your meta description and show the visitor that your content exactly what they are looking for.

3. Optimize Images to load faster

Image optimization is another and very very important step to make your blog article search engine friendly and to load faster.

Image optimization is to compress the images in JPEG or PNG format to the best minimum possible size.

Ex. For example, there is an image having 1.2 MB size, which normally takes a lot of time to load, while the same compressed images would have size around 200KB and it would be loaded faster.

To decrease your bounce rate and increase the engagement it is necessary to keep your visitors on your website and if you added any external link or affiliate links to your website. 7. Use Royalty-Free Images in your Blog

If you are serious about your blog or website.

You must have royalty-free images in your blog to run safe online and to avoid any copyright issue on your website.

8. Use Proper Image Thumbnail for Social Media

While you share your blog post on social media, often it happens that your feature images automatically added in your post but that feature image is not properly displayed.

So it becomes necessary to add the display picture according to the instructed by the social media medium like facebook and twitter. So that when you share your blog post on social media, it fits on the screen and visible to everyone.

9. Divide Articles using Proper Headings H2, H3

However, another way which is also search engine friendly and helps you a lot to decrease your bounce rate is that your blog article must be divided into several heading sections.

Headings must have in H2 or H3 sizes and at least one of them must have your focus keywords. This is the most recommendable step and should be followed because it also makes your article optimized for Search Engine.
