- Do you want to build your own tribe on Instagram?
- Do you want to become an Instagram Influencer?
- Do you want to monetize your Instagram?
If your answer is Yes and still you are learning how to get followers on Instagram fast? This post is for you, why?
I spent the past 14 months building some sports & travel brands from 0 to 350,000 followers inside a pretty saturated niche (business infographics & similar stuff), yet I am right NOW the fastest growing account in that niche. Why?
There is no saturation if you build an unique identity, but first things first:
What is the biggest challenge on Instagram?
Since you are here to learn how to get Instagram followers fast?
I’d like to share that It’s the game of first 20,000 followers. After you hit a certain momentun and engagement rate, you’ll grow naturally, so after the first 20k all you have to do is post GREAT content – That’s it!
I spent exactly $0 to build my account and I’m now gaining 1500 – 2000 followers per day simply by posting a picture per day and answering comments. Pretty cool, right?
How to hit the first 20,000?
Some people say engagement groups work, some say they don’t. It worked for me and many of my friends, partners and students but you never know when the next algorithm change slaps you in the face so what to do?
Use 10-20 hashtags with every post and screw the top hashtags you find via apps as you absolutely can’t compete with the big players and will always disappear in the shadows when you use hashtags that were used hundreds of thousands of times.
Instead focus on specific hashtags that aren’t oversaturated in the beginning.
Post 3-5 times per day and analyze your hashtag reach. Sort your hashtags by size, mix them up (popular hashtags with less popular and very specific ones) and analyze the performance.
Here’s the catch: I recommend building a list of 200 hashtags and create 10 sets á 20 hashtags. Yes, it requires some work (unless you know the right hacks and pull them within 5 mins).
Is that all? Nope. I still recommend signing up to a paid influencer network as they have precisely scheduled engagement rounds, so you get lots of engagement within the first hour after posting and to see if it works for you.
What if you still struggle?
You can always buy shoutouts BUT its a sketchy space. You have to know HOW and WHERE to buy them. Dm influencers, negotiate rates but FIRST ask them for their audience demographics and check their growth on igblade.com.
If the audience is mainly US based and the account is on a “bull run” (increasing or steady & stable growth rate) you have a green light. If the audience is mainly based in India and/or the daily account growth is decreasing, its a red flag.
I could write a whole book about it so that’s just a few tips but back to my first statement:
“There is no saturation if you build an unique identity”.
I build my presence in a saturated niche and I’m, from what I see, the currently fastest growing account in that space, why?
- less than 10% of my content are redesigned posts from other pages aka. remodelled reposts.
- I write my posts the same way I talk, so I use my own words, add my own sauce and 2 cents giving them an identity.
- Most of the ideas for my posts come from my own head instead of other pages, so I read books, listen to audios, watch videos, make my research and transfer experiences into pictures.
- I know my stuff and post it, I spent $700,000 on fb ads, built 4 shopify stores, made tens of thousands of dollars via Clickfunnels etc. and people on Instagram notice that I actually know my craft.
- I give my whole account an identity by building it based on the first 4 bullet points.
I hope I could inspire some people to build their Instagram empire and before I stop, one more info:
Lots of people spend $1 per click to their funnel. One good promo post on my page drives 2000 website clicks so I save $2000 in adspend. If all I do is make a promo post per week, I save $8,000 per month on advertising.
Sounds absurd? Let me add something more: As you can see in the picture I currently receive 10k likes per post on average. Thats a custom audience of 10,000 people who I can retarged with Facebook ads with every single post.
My business partner made $300,000 selling high ticket services with 82,000 followers on IG following my advice (no fb/ig ads involved). Not trying to sell you anything here, I just want to show you the possibilities.
No excuses, get sh*t done!
